There are toilet facilities located both within the Restaurant and outside the main entrance, we would advise to go before queuing up for the Grotto.

Sefton Meadows has an onsite Restaurant where plenty of festive food and drink will be available (Serving from 9am till 3:30pm daily)

We have a car park available, which is free to customers. It is located in front of the entrance to the garden centre.

Sefton Meadows Grotto is situated inside the Garden Centre so there’s plenty of time to combine Christmas shopping with your Grotto visit!

From the 5th of November we also have our VR Sleigh Ride experience https://grotto.seftonmeadows.co.uk/product/magical-sleigh-ride/ (Save 10% when booking both events).

Food and drink is also available on site at our restaurant (Serving from 9am to 3:30pm).

The Grotto is suitable for the whole family to enjoy.

Wheelchair and pram access is available

We would recommend arriving 15 minutes before your time slot to prevent any delays. Any missed time slots may be refused entry.

A walk through the Grotto and the Winter Wonderland decorative scenes, meet Santa and receive a special gift to take home.

Any missed time slots may be subject to refusal, however we will try to accommodate any missed time slots for the same day where applicable.

When pre-booking the grotto event you will receive an order confirmation, either print this off or show the confirmation email from your phone.

Tickets are available to purchase on the day at the garden centre, however we do recommend pre-booking a time slot to avoid any delays.

We would recommend the full experience to be enjoyed from the ages 5 and over.

For anyone under the age of 5, discomfort with wearing a VR headset or prone to motion sickness a secondary standard screen is provided for all to enjoy the experience.

Wheelchair access is available; Please note the motion controlled sleigh may be difficult to access for some users, however the VR headsets may still be used.

The VR experience is £6.99 per person, any children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

There are two rides to choose from “World Adventure” and “Lapland Adventure” each experience last around 5 minutes.

We will be unable to process a refund after this point.
